At GA Human Resources we provide letters, HR templates, contracts and policies for every employment situation. However, we go the extra mile. We won’t hand you a template and leave you to it, we will discuss the scenario with you and adapt it to the exact situation. After all, employment matters involve human beings and every situation will be slightly different.
Contracts of employment
Our contracts are written individually for each client. We include your branding and incorporate the personality of the organisation. We will advise you on standard clauses but we will also guide you in additional clauses that you may wish to include and we will explain why. We will also provide you with a support booklet to accompany your contract. If you then forget why a certain clause is included, you can refer to the booklet to see why. We write contracts for many employment and worker situations including:
- Full and part-time employment contracts
- Fixed term employment contracts
- Zero hours contracts
- Consultancy agreements
- Casual worker contracts
- Self-employed contractor agreements
- Apprentice contracts and agreements
The cost of your contract will depend on the complexity and how many clauses you wish to include. We will offer you a free, no obligation, review of your existing documents and can then provide you with a quote for a new contract.
It is often helpful to incorporate company policies and procedures into one document called a staff handbook (or whatever you prefer to call it). These can be as simple or as detailed as you like. We produce staff handbooks with several hundred pages or some with only a few where companies simply want the essential policies to be legally compliant.
In today’s business environment more and more policies are being introduced to deal with issues that simply were not around 10 years ago. We have up to date policies for all these situations. Like our contracts, we put the handbooks together in a bespoke way for each client and incorporate the company’s personality. Your handbook will have your branding and can also have company photographs or imagery to give it an even more bespoke feel.
Policies that you may wish to put in a handbook include:
- Annual Leave
- Other Leave e.g. Compassionate
- Equal Opportunities
- Harassment and Bullying
- Maternity, Paternity, Adoption
- Parental Leave
- Flexible Working
- Health and Safety
- Social Media
- Email and Internet Use
- Substance Abuse
- Jury Service
- Conflicts of Interest
- Right to Search
- Return of Company Property
- Care of Company Property
- Intellectual Property Rights
- Patents, Copyrights and Designs
- Use of Company and Personal Mobile Phones
- Mobile Phones and Driving
- Using Your Own Vehicle for Company Business
- Gifts and Gratuities

Individual policies or templates
If you are looking for a one off policy or template, but want to know they are from a reliable and professional source then we can help you. We prefer to write them individually for your company but if you would like to manage costs and work from a standard template we can provide those too. Please see our Fees for further information.
